We are fundraising to double our impact on teachers in 2023!

Teachers are resigning and schools are floundering. We’re here to solve it and we need your help to raise funds to support more schools, more teachers, and more students in 2023.

Healing Schools Project's mission is to work with schools to build and sustain cultures of community care. We are working to address the teacher burnout issue so that students have teachers who can support them academically and emotionally.

In 2022, Healing Schools Project supported more than 400 teachers, school leaders, and educators (and the 3000+ students they serve) across NY, NJ, and MA.

We want to double that number in 2023 but to do that, we need your support!

The New York Times recently reported on what empty classrooms look like, teachers exhausted and crying at their desks, principals doing playground duty but the reality is that there’s so much more happening that can’t be captured through a video.

Healing Schools Project is raising our final round of the year to begin to heal schools in 2023.

Healing means addressing the issue from the root -- ensuring that schools can become places that center educator and student well-being, especially for those most historically marginalized. Teachers in our program say that if their schools did more work like what Healing Schools Project provides, they'd be willing to stay. Help us bring this important work to more teachers by donating before the year is up.

On behalf of educators in our community, thank you for your generosity this holiday season!

Healing Schools Project is fiscally sponsored by Counseling in Schools, a 501(c)3 organization so all donations are tax-deductible.
